Sea kayak guide, coach and expedition paddler with extensive experience exploring and guiding around Scotland’s wild coastlines, particularly Orkney and the north, as well as paddling in Norway and Ireland.A lifelong connection with the sea, first through sailing and later sea kayaking, underpins my approach to guiding and expedition. In 2026 I completed a month-long, 700+ km solo sea kayak expedition through northern Norway to Nordkapp.I thrive in dynamic coastal environments and enjoy sharing the freedom, challenge and connection found through travelling in wild places. I aim to create safe, supportive journeys that help people build confidence, develop skills and deepen their connection with the sea and natural world.

Arctic Norway by Kayak
Solo sea kayak journey along the outer coast of northern Norway, paddling north from Bodø toward Nordkapp.
The aim is to travel simply and immersively through exposed coastal environments, building experience in Arctic waters and continuing a progression toward expedition guiding.
