Sea kayak guide and expedition paddler with experience operating in exposed tidal environments across Scotland, Ireland and northern Norway.I have a track record of as a strong leader and creating a positive and empowering team atmosphere and focused on safe, supportive guest experiences.Alongside kayaking, I have a background in offshore sailing and marine renewables engineering, bringing strong seamanship, decision-making, and confidence in dynamic marine environments.
Current Expeditions
Solo sea kayak journey along the outer coast of northern Norway, paddling north from Bodø toward Nordkapp.
The aim is to travel simply and immersively through exposed coastal environments, building experience in Arctic waters and continuing a progression toward expedition guiding.
Experience
• 5+ years paddling and guiding in Scotland, Ireland and Norway
• Extensive experience in high tidal flow environments (Orkney)
• Multi-day expeditions including Outer Hebrides and northern Norway
• Transatlantic sailing experience and offshore passage making
